Here is a list of some of the key terms that you will need to consider as a part of your analysis:
Characterisation:
–The way that the personalities of the characters are created through facial expressions, body language, clothing, physical size and presence on the screen.
Exaggeration:
–Why has the director chosen to exaggerate certain images, such as the buildings of Belleville and Champion’s over-worked calf muscles?
Film Techniques:
–Lighting, the use of colour to create a certain type of atmosphere or mood, the physical appearance of characters, places and objects.
